The story

Ed Davis has spent more than twenty years doing hands-on data security work across government, healthcare, finance, legal, defense, and education environments. That experience shaped a simple conviction: data protection succeeds when it is built on a defensible understanding of the data itself, deployed in phases, and tuned to real business workflows.
That conviction became the Three Pillars of Contextual Data Security: a framework covering the AI frontier, the internal core, and the legacy foundation beneath them. Every engagement runs on the same monitor-first, enforce-last philosophy.
